Letter to All (generic address)

A letter speaking to anyone who reads it. Used mostly for reference regarding such matters as previous employment or completed projects etc, so it can be included in a curriculum vitae or a portfolio giving details in a form which ensures that the author does not have to be continually involved. Because we don't know who is going to read it, we must be very careful to ensure that what it contains is true and verifiable. Because it is not written to a known reader, it is generally considered to be of less value to the reader.
