This template shows the key concepts used in the generation of a statement of theoretical intention, designed for the formal explication of the methodology to be used in a planned doctoral thesis. This example uses the AGPS style and therefore has headings and a table of contents, but (usually) no footnotes . This example chooses one formal model type viz: hypothesis/thesis/antithesis/synthesis.

This example uses the AGPS style and therefore has headings, a table of contents, but (usually) no footnotes. The chapter headings contain a title and 9 chapters are offered on the basis that this is the minimum number of chapters necessary if dictated by the title of the chapter based on the formal model type hypothesis/exploration/critical review.
