Deed. Queensland only. This is a formal deed (contract under seal). This is a generic format between two parties ("Party A" and "Party B") and either party can be a person, a sole trader, a partnership or a company or an assigned authority for a company under an Instrument of Delegation. It contains substantive text including basic elements of any contract, standard contract definitions, interpretations, declarations, disclaimers, and commitments, etc. Australian legal agreement (QLD).

This Deed is used for a promise to transfer money at a future date in the State of Queensland. This is an interesting example. The parties had a ruling by the Court and an Order but subsequent matters have exposed an obligation to pay that was not properly dealt with in the Order. Because the matter is separate from the matters dealt with by the Order, the parties have agreed on an amount of obligation and to a settlement at some date in the future, thereby making it unnecessary to seek revision of the Order. It is "executed" by both parties before a witness.

This deed is used for the sale of itemised object(s) of sale in the States of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory. In this version the transfer of ownership is at some date in the future. It includes a release form to be signed by the purchaser upon receipt of the object(s), thereby completing the deal. This is a "private sale" ("person to person"). The vendor states that GST does not apply but if it does (s)he will take care of all responsibilities and benefits related to the sale with the ATO.

A more detailed "deed" or "contract under seal" used for a sale by the Seller of itemised object(s) of sale in return for money from the Buyer in the State of Tasmania. It is generic, being able to be used for Person, Sole Trader, Partnership, and/or Company. It includes understandings and definitions and refers to ATO and GST issues. It includes two release forms for acknowlegement of the transfer of the goods and the money, allowing the three events, the "meeting of the minds", the "payment" and the "handover" to happen all at once or at different times.

Standard agreement (simple contract) between two parties - "Party A" who can be an association, a co-operative or a company limited by guarantee or an assigned authority under Instrument of Delegation and "Party B" who is a person who has impaired eyesight or is blind and therefore unable to read the Agreement. However a readable version is prepared for Party B and is signed off, initialled by Party B, and attached to the agreement, after which Party B signs the agreement normally but extra care is taken in witnessing. This generic deed is suitable for a deed between two corporations in the State of Tasmania. In its template form it says nothing and does nothing. However it contains useful interpretation clauses, useful implementation clauses, and confidentiality clauses. In its first section the template contains ample fields where the customer can insert a "recital" of the circumstances giving rise to the deed. In its "operative" section the template contains: * Covenants (undertakings) of each of the parties. For example: "The First Party shall ... do such and such by a certain date ...."

A gratuitous promise is a promise to transfer money or property to someone who is not providing anything in return. In this version the transfer of ownership is at some date in the future. It includes a release form to be signed by the receiver upon receipt of the object(s), thereby completing the deal. This is the "person to person" version.
