Quotation to supply a new system - informal

Many smaller systems are quoted, rather than going to tender. This quotation is a response to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the supply of goods and services in the form of a new system. Usually for an RFQ we assume that there is no need to justify or promote the relationship with the Issuer as the Issuer has already agreed to do business with us. However, in this case, we are unsure of who else is quoting, so we add some reminders of our suitability for the job. This quote is built in informal, modern style.

Registration of Interest (ROI)

The Registration of Interest (ROI) is the first step in a two step process for dealing with RFT. Vendors are invited to register their interest. This enables the Issuer to evaluate the responses and to only issue the RFT to chosen vendors. Responses are evaluated and a short-list of possible vendors drawn up. The short-listed vendors are then asked to respond to the RFT.
